  • Concealed Carry Corner: My Top Carry Guns
Welcome to another edition of Concealed Carry Corner. Last week, we took a look at the various types of handgun actions and why you should consider each style as well as some of their drawbacks. If you happened to miss that article, be sure to click the link here  to check it out. This week, I wanted to look at my personal carry guns and explain why I carry them and in what circumstances they are good options to carry. So many people struggle to figure out what they need and what they don't need. I use my example as a starting point where you can use these as a reference and go from there. Let's take a closer look at my top carry guns.
  • Colt CZ Reports 10% Drop in Firearm Sales Despite Revenue Growth
The Czech firearms conglomerate Colt CZ Group reported a 10.4% decline in firearm unit sales for the first nine months of 2025 , moving 415,146 guns compared to 463,186 during the same period last year. The company's nine-month earnings report, released November 20, paints a picture of a firearms industry still struggling to find its footing after years of pandemic-driven highs.

Aimpoint has released a new configuration of the ACRO P-2 red dot sight, featuring a 9 MOA aiming point intended for use on tactical shotguns. The sight was developed in response to requests from agencies seeking a simple, rapidly deployable optic for engaging small, fast-moving targets at short distances, including low-altitude drones. According to Aimpoint, the development process from initial request to prototype took four weeks.
  • TFB Behind the Gun #194: TFB Thanksgiving Special | Josh Centers
We have a lot to be thankful for in this great nation, and I’m especially grateful for all of you - our readers, listeners, and viewers. Without your support, there’d be little reason for the TFB and TFBTV team to keep doing what we do (maybe except for posterity). Your feedback, comments, and continued viewership keep us coming back for more. Over the years, The Firearm Blog has had the privilege of working with some remarkable, quirky, and occasionally struggling companies in the firearms industry - an experience that’s truly a bonus of being part of the team. Today, I’m welcoming TFB’s Editor in Chief, Josh Centers, to share his perspective on thankfulness and to give us a look behind the scenes at the person leading The Firearm Blog. Happy Thanksgiving from all of us at TFB and TFBTV.
  • Best Shooting Earbuds in 2025
It wasn’t until my mid-to-late 20s that I began to take my hearing protection seriously. I ran heavy equipment for a living and loved shooting and hunting, so my ears were often under fire from dangerously loud noises. I began to notice a slight hearing decline, so I started wearing foam earplugs at work and ear pro while shooting and hunting. However, I found that shouldering my rifle and shotgun while wearing my old earmuffs didn’t allow me to get a good cheek weld on the stock. So, I began the search for the best shooting earbuds. Below are my top picks for 2025.
